Gary E. English is an associate with the Tecklenburg & Jenkins Law Firm, LLC. He concentrates in Admiralty and Maritime, Transportation, Corporate, and Real Property Law, to include matters involving litigation and transactions. Mr. English is admitted to practice in the State of South Carolina, before the United States District Court for South Carolina, and in the State of Georgia. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science, the Naval Postgraduate School, with a Master of Science degree in Applied Science, and the Charleston School of Law, Cum Laude. 

Mr. English serves on The Maritime Association of South Carolina Board of Directors, Navigation and Operations Committee, and Government Affairs Committee, The Maritime Law Association of the United States Marine Insurance and General Average Committee, and the Salvage Committee, and The Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute Board of Directors and is the Charleston Assistant Port Captain. Additionally, Mr. English is a member of The Propeller Club of the United States, Association of Average Adjusters—Subscriber, The Association of Average Adjusters of the United States—Resident Associate, The United States Naval Institute—Lifetime Member, The United States Naval Academy Alumni Association—Lifetime Member, and the Acoustical Society of America—Associate Member. 

Mr. English is also a South Carolina High School League Football Referee, a member of the United States Naval Academy 1981 Liberty Bowl Team, an Eagle Scout, and member of the Order of the Arrow.
